A year after calling off her wedding, controversial artist Akothee (Esther Akoth) has finally found love. The musician posted photos of her and Nelson Oyugi alias Nelly Oaks in a sandy beach, having good and memorable moments.
According to his Facebook account, Oyugi is the manger of Akothee Safaris, a fleet of business vehicles owned by Djele Djele hit maker. He is 29 years old, 5 years younger than Akothee.
Akothee captioned the photo: “Baby , I just want to have triplets for you , so they can abuse us in one pregnancy iishe 😂😂😂if we start dropping one after another some will give up on the way due to lack of new insults😂😂 and you know we don’t need common insults we need new ones for every episode.”
Previously, Akothee ha posted another photo with the same man, giving a hint and a warning to all women who were salivating for her new found love.

Akothee cancelled her wedding late last year following what she termed as tough conditions from her then fiancee.
“… I come first. A man doesn’t give me conditions. Initially I wasn’t supposed to go to AFRIMMA. He (fiance) feels like music is taking too much of my time. So we had agreed I choose what’s best for me; so I chose music,” she said in an interview with NTV’s Larry Madowo.
Currently, Akothee has three daughters and two sons from different marriages. She had four daughters from her first marriage and bore three children between the ages of 14 to 16. One of her kids died because she could not afford to take her to hospital. She later gave birth to her fourth daughter in the year 2000.
Her sons are from her second marriage with a white man who she claims was only interested in having children with her but not marriage.
This will be her fourth official marriage, if at all they agree to tie the knot.
