Kenyans woke up to KRA mail sending them season’s greetings, one of the rarest things the tax collector ever does.
The mail read, “Dear Taxpayer. This is a special thanks from us for the opportunity to serve you this year. May the new year bring you peace, joy and prosperity. Happy Holidays.”
The ever creative and fun loving Kenyans decided to make fun of the season’s greetings, with some demanding part of their taxes back. Below are samples of Kenyans’ reaction to the mail:-
“When KRA sends you Season’s greetings, you definitely know what they are eyeing #Isokay,” posted Nicholas Jasper on Facebook.
That moment you receive Seasons Greetings from KRA. Talk of one day the lion and the lamb staying together in harmony!
