Speaking about the event, the founding director Carol Pulei noted that the African-wear is receiving recognition globally, urging Africans to be proud of Kenyan products and embrace them. “We have seen global celebrities like Beyonce have African themed baby showers courtesy of African styles by Burkinabae Accessories and Demestik by Reuben Reuel, that clearly defines the need of the African design work into the larger global market,” she says.
Pulei recognises that the African Sports stars are often in the forefront of representing the country and continent in global stages, promising to recognize their good work. “We are looking at celebrating them through some of our brand products that are royal, elite, and exclusive,” she adds.
The campaign is set to kick off two months after the African fashion and design week is set up in Hollywood, where the top African Fashion and designers’ Week will be happening.
Naneuleshan apparel has been on the forefront of styling African political and business leaders and its take in the African fashion is hitting the market.
