An audio tape was played in a Mavoko court during the hearing of a case in which a man has denied defiling his stepdaughter at knifepoint.
Anthony Musembi Mutisya has been charged that on August 26 2016 he intentionally had carnal knowledge his stepdaughter aged 12 years.
According to an audio recording from the victim which was played in court the accused had come back home late on the day of the incident when the children had already slept. He then started knocking on the door of their one-single room calling out the victim’s name.
However the next thing the girl told the court she saw was her father holding a knife threatening her that he would kill her if she screamed.

The accused who had appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Linus Kassan is said to have committed the offence within Jam City area, Athi River Sub-county within Mavoko County.
The accused is said to have gone ahead with the indecent act on his stepdaughter while her two siblings slept. He informed the victim that he would be defiling her on a daily basis.
The victim endured the ordeal the whole night before reporting the horrendous experience to a neighbour identified only as Eunice.
The matter was eventually reported to the Athi River Police Station before Mutisya was apprehended by police on September 4 2016 and defilement charges pressed against him.
She was eventually taken to the Nairobi Women’s Hospital in Kitengela where she was treated and given the necessary medication.
The accused who is still in police custody has however denied the charges. The case will be mentioned on November 31 2017.
Last week the same court handed a life sentence to a businessman after he was convicted of sexually molesting a nine year- old- girl.
John Njuguna Mburu was handed the maximum penalty as outlined in Section 8(1) (2) of the sexual Offences Act No. 3 of 2006 after the prosecution side satisfied the court that the Kitengela-based merchant had actually committed the heinous act.
According to witnesses statements who testified in court Mburu began making sexual advances to the class three pupil at the First Baptist Academy in Athi River on diverse dates between August 2014 and January 2015.
The girl is said to have been living with her single father David Makwali Indimuli at the time of the bizarre rendezvous with the suspect.
