Loyalty pays off for Jaro Soja as he gets car reward
Being Gor Mahia’s number one fan has paid off for Jaro Soja after a Kenyan-born United Kingdom-based businessman rewarded his loyalty by buying him a brand new car.
According to eDaily, businessman David Ochieng’ inquired if K’Ogalo rewards Jaro Soja, born Jared Obonyo, for his stanch commitment to supporting the club. When Soja answered: “Yes, but not as many would think,” Ochieng’ bought and ferried him a motor vehicle, Toyota Allion model.
Ochieng’ later traveled to the country where he presented the car to Jaro Soja.
“Ochieng’ said he spotted me severally when he watched Gor matches on TV, and that he was moved by devotion.
He presented – what he called a gift (car) to me – when we recently met in Nairobi,” Soja told eDaily.
“I have plunged the car into taxi business. It operates within Nairobi. I still move around on my motorbike.”
